I was fortunate enough a couple of years ago to get a plug in the Boston Globe and Gray's Sporting Journal while guiding up at Bradford Camps. Bradford is a turn of the century traditional sporting camp located on Munsungan Lake in the North Maine Woods. The outfit includes a large Maine lodge with a beautiful main room and dining room, eight waterfront cabins, a float plane, boats, canoes, kayaks and more fishing opportunities then you can count. I guide both fishing and hunting out of the camps. Most fishing takes place on fly fishing only ponds, the Allagash River, a couple of streams within Baxter State Park, and trolling on the lake. Primary target is brook trout and the lake is tremendous for lake trout and landlocked salmon. Check out the Boston Globe article using the link below.
